This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your access to and use of TriggerPage’s websites, software, portal, messaging tools, bots, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), including TriggerPage.com and TriggerPortal.com.
By using the Services, you agree to this AUP. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1) Why this policy exists
TriggerPage enables lead capture, automation, and multi-channel communications (including chat, voice, social messaging, and SMS). Misuse can harm consumers, violate carrier/platform rules, and create risk for customers and TriggerPage. This AUP exists to keep the Services safe, compliant, and reliable.
2) High-level rule
Use the Services legally, honestly, and with permission. Do not use TriggerPage to send messages, collect data, or run campaigns without proper consent and a legitimate purpose.
3) Prohibited activities
You may not (and may not allow others to):
- Break the law or encourage illegal activity
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or run deceptive outreach
- Violate messaging rules (including TCPA and related laws, carrier policies, and platform rules), or send messages without required opt-in/consent
- Harass, threaten, or abuse any person, or send hateful, violent, or discriminatory content
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or intent
- Collect sensitive information (e.g., payment card data, government IDs, passwords) unless expressly designed for it and handled securely by appropriate providers
- Use the Services for phishing, social engineering, or attempts to obtain confidential information
- Upload malware, exploit code, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
- Interfere with the Services, including denial-of-service attacks, scraping that harms performance, or abuse of automation features
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
- Use data from the Services to build or enrich profiles in a way that violates privacy laws or your own disclosed policies/consents
- Use the Services to promote illegal products or services, or engage in regulated activity without required approvals
4) Messaging and consent requirements (SMS, chat, social, voice)
If you use TriggerPage to message prospects or customers, you must:
- Obtain and document the required consent/permission before messaging
- Provide clear opt-out instructions where applicable (e.g., STOP for SMS)
- Honor opt-out requests promptly and stop messaging after opt-out
- Use accurate sender identity and truthful content (no bait-and-switch)
- Comply with carrier/platform requirements and content restrictions
5) Data and privacy expectations
You must use data collected through the Services responsibly and consistently with your published policies and user permissions. Do not attempt to circumvent user choices, consent tools, or privacy settings.
6) Monitoring and enforcement
We may monitor usage patterns to protect the Services and investigate suspected abuse, fraud, or policy violations. We are not obligated to monitor all activity, but we reserve the right to do so where appropriate.
7) Consequences of violation
If you violate this AUP (or if your use creates risk for consumers, carriers/platforms, or TriggerPage), we may take action including:
- Warning you and requesting corrective action
- Disabling features (including messaging/SMS) until compliance is verified
- Suspending or terminating your account or access to the Services
- Reporting suspected illegal activity to appropriate authorities when required
8) Changes to this AUP
We may update this AUP from time to time. The “Last Updated” date controls.
